about

"Eremit" is the second album by Jens-H. Kruhl aka WiesenBerg after "Neverending" 2015. The listener can expect melodic and restrained rhythmic ambient music for the soul, inspired by the theme "Hermit" / "Anchorite", in which not only synth sounds but also cello and electric guitar are played. Kruhl also presents two guest artists: the German-Australian Heidi-Marie Arapa, with whom coproductions have already appeared, and the mastermind of the online electronic music station Modul303, Wolfgang Roth. Similar to "Neverending", "Eremit" is a thematic retroperspective with a creative period of over 13 years. The layout was created again in collaboration with Fred Fahrenberg, only this time - the other way around than "Neverending" - the music served as a template.

about

WiesenBerg Germany

The instrument I learned first was the cello, later on the piano. At the age of 17 I started playing in rock bands.
Beside my activities in bands and projects I initiated in my function as a teacher for music, I never stopped composing electronic music.
Wiesenberg: That's the maiden name of my mother (by profession a vocalist), which refers back to my roots in Salzburg and Kaliningrad.
